Find the total surface area of a hemisphere of radius 10 cm. (Use π = 3.14)

Answer

Given,

Radius of the hemisphere (r) = 10 cm

By formula,

Total Surface area of hemisphere (A) = 3πr2

Substituting values we get :

A=3×3.14×(10)2=3×3.14×100=942 cm2.A = 3 \times 3.14 \times (10)^2 \\[1em] = 3 \times 3.14 \times 100 \\[1em] = 942 \text{ cm}^2.

Hence, the total surface area of the hemisphere is 942 cm2.
