Substances which are made up of cellulose or proteins are hydrophilic. What will happen to the wooden doors in rainy season?

Answer

The wooden doors will swell up during rainy season by absorbing moisture present in the air as cellulose being hydrophilic will imbibe (surface attraction) water.
