Which gland secretes thyroxine? What will happen if the secretion of thyroxine is insufficient?

Answer

Thyroid gland secretes thyroxine. Insufficient secretion of thyroxine is called hypothyroidism. It may leads to simple goitre, cretinism and myxoedema.
