Dev brought an electrical fan which has a marked price of ₹ 800. If the GST on the goods is 7%, then the SGST is :

Answer

Since, GST rate is 7%, then SGST = 72\dfrac{7}{2} = 3.5%.

M.P. of electrical fan = ₹ 800.

SGST = 3.5% of ₹ 800

= 3.5100×800\dfrac{3.5}{100} \times 800

= ₹ 28.

Hence, Option 2 is the correct option.
