(i) Why is the motion of a body moving with a constant speed around a circular path said to be accelerated? [2]
(ii) Name the unit of physical quantity obtained by the formula .
Where K: kinetic energy, V: Linear Velocity.
(i) The motion of a body moving with a constant speed around a circular path is said to be accelerated because as the direction keeps changing the velocity changes and therefore it's an accelerated motion.
(ii) = = m.
Therefore, the quantity, will have the unit of mass m which is kilogram (kg).
