Local Self-Government — Urban — Question 2

My area is governed by a Municipal Corporation as I live in a big urban area or metropolis.

The issues for which I can approach the Municipal Corporation are as follows:

1. Safe drinking water supply
2. Cleaning roads and drains
3. Disposal of garbage
4. Construction and maintenance of public roads
5. Arrangement for street lighting and security
6. Maintenance of records for births and deaths
7. Maintenance of primary schools
8. Construction of public parks, gardens, libraries and museums
9. Conducting surveys
10. Providing housing for low income groups
11. Planting of trees along the roadside
