With the help of suitable examples, explain the Photo editing tasks that can be done using Desktop, Web, or Mobile Apps.

Answer

Photo editing means changing or manipulating some elements of a photo. Some tasks that are used to edit a photo are as follows:

  1. Cropping — This tool allows us to adjust the framing of a photo to alter its composition. For example — we use cropping on photos when we set our Whatsapp status.

  2. Colour correction — Photo editors provide various filters to alter the overall appearance of our photos. For example — we use filters to make our photos attractive.

  3. Add text or stickers — We can add text or stickers to our photos using photo editors. For example — We use this tool to point out things in the photos.

  4. Resize — This tool helps us to change the size of our photos. For example — When we fill any exam form online, the candidate's photo needs to be of a particular size (say less than 16 MB). This tool helps in resizing the photo.
