Two scientific functions of the UNESCO are:

1. It organises seminars and conferences of scientists from various nations.
2. It promotes research in the fields of geology, mathematics, physics and oceanography. It also finances engineering and technology schemes in the developing countries.

The sources of funds of the specialised agencies of the UN are:

1. Donations from governments of various countries, Non-Governmental Organisations and individuals.
2. Sale of greeting cards, posters, books and periodicals, diaries and calendars.

Three important functions of the UNICEF are:

1. It works for the survival, health and well being of the children.
2. It provides training to the health and sanitation personnel, teachers, nutritionists.
3. It provides technical supplies and aids like pumps and pipes for bringing clean water to rural areas.

The primary objective of the WHO is to attain "the highest possible level of health" for all.

ILO helps the workers in the following ways:

1. It helps in establishing international labour standards by setting minimum standards of labour rights like freedom of association, right to organise, collective bargaining, abolition of forced labour, equality of opportunity and treatment.
2. It forms policies for improving the condition of the workers.
3. It sets standards for wages and living conditions of the workers.
4. It provides technical assistance and has adopted conventions which provide compulsory insurance against sickness, old age, death and payment of compensation to workers and their dependents in case of injury by accident and diseases.
5. It offers opportunities to workers for studying and training in ILO's International Institute for Labour Studies at Geneva and the International Centre for Advanced Technical and Vocational Training at Turin, Italy.

(a) The given logo is of UNICEF. The primary objective of the UNICEF is to look after children's welfare, especially in the developing countries by providing low cost community services like maternal health, childcare, nutrition, immunisation, etc.

(b) UNICEF depends on the voluntary contributions from various governments, donations from private agencies, sale of greeting cards and funds raised through campaigns.

(c) The functions of UNICEF are:

1. It works for the survival, health and well-being of the children.
2. It provides training to the health and sanitation personnel, teachers, nutritionists.
3. It provides technical supplies and aids like pumps and pipes for bringing clean water to rural areas.
4. It helps children and mothers in emergencies, such as natural calamities and epidemics.
5. It makes efforts to prevent diseases like tuberculosis, malaria, skin diseases, etc. and to immunise people against these diseases.
6. It suppresses trafficking in children and women.
